Proverbs 10:17 (The Message) says, "The road to life is a disciplined life; ignore correction and you're lost for good."

Proverbs is a very powerful book of wisdom. I think we all need to read it more than maybe we do. It's written with 31 chapters -interesting - 31 days in most months! Could it be that God intended for us to read one a day? Proverbs instructs us to seek out wisdom and know the value that it brings into our life.

In this day where the economic road ahead looks rough, where ministries and ministers are failing, and everyone is wondering what the future holds... Let us look towards the One who holds us all in His hands and know that we are safe, secure and that we have a future in Him! And that future will be built upon the foundation of a "...disciplined..." life on God's Word. Do not reject wisdom, but find it's value, seek out it's purpose and embrace it!

God's Love For Us!

God loves you more than you will ever be able to know this side of heaven. And He wants only the best for you: He wants you to have a full life on earth, and an eternity in heaven with Him. Yes, He wants you to live for Him, obeying His commands. But they are there for your benefit, to protect you from harm. Give Him a chance to prove it. Give Him an opportunity to prove it to you on a personal level, and see if He doesn’t do it. He wants your joy and happiness even more than you do, and He sent His Son to suffer a cruel death to give it to you. Call on Jesus to give you the life that reflects knowing that you will spend eternity in heaven, and that pleases God in all you do.
